With Ticketleap's iOS app, checking event goers into your event is a breeze. You can scan both printed tickets and electronic tickets (tickets on a smart phone) with the same efficiency. The square QR code on the ticket is what the iPad will scan. Make sure you're using an iPad model that has the built-in camera, or you'll have to manually search patrons by name.
First open the Ticketleap app and log in to your account. Use the same login credentials as you would when accessing your account on a computer.
After logging in, tap on Check In Attendees on the left side of your screen.
Select the event you wish to check attendees in to and tap CHECK IN in the upper right corner.
The camera on the iPad will activate so you can scan the QR code from the printed or electronic ticket. You can also enter the patron's name, email address or confirmation code in the search section if they can't find or forgot their ticket. When you scan a ticket and it is valid, you will see the following screen.
If a ticket has been already been scanned or checked-in, you will see the following screen.
If you need to revisit any tickets that you have just scanned, you can tap the LAST SCAN window shade, which will give you your previously scanned listing.
