Did one of your ticket buyers type in the incorrect email address when they purchased their ticket? No worries! You can edit their email address through the admin in your Ticketleap account. Before you do this, there are a few things that you should know:
This feature should only be used when a ticket buyer accidentally types in the wrong email address.
You should not use this feature to transfer the name on a ticket. A ticket buyer can send their ticket to a friend or family member.
You will not be able to use this feature if the ticket buyer has an account with Ticketleap. If you do not see the "change" button, then you know the ticket buyer has created an account and they will be able to edit this information in their account themselves.
Still want to edit the ticket buyers email address? Here’s how.
Sign in to your Ticketleap account and select Orders from the Reports tab on your dashboard.
Search for the ticket buyers email or name you’d like to edit and then click on the View Order Details icon.
Click on the Change button next to the ticket buyers email address and type the correct email address and Save the changes. If you do not see the "change" button, then you know the ticket buyer has created an account and they will need to edit this information in their account themselves.
Now that you have edited the ticket buyer's email address, here's what will happen:
The ticket buyer will receive a new confirmation email from Ticketleap with their order information.
The ticket buyers email address will update on that order only. If they have other orders in the system with the incorrect information, that information will remain.
The attendee list will reflect the ticket buyers updated email address.
