If you want to have your address be private from public view or if you are hosting an online/live streaming event then you'll want to hide your event's address. Please note, hiding the address will only prevent it from being seen pre-purchase. After the purchase is complete the buyer will still see the address on their confirmation page, on the confirmation email and on their tickets.
You'll need to first create the event. The address field does need filled in during the creation process so you may need to enter a fake or placeholder address.
After the event has been created click the Details tab on your event dashboard.
Then scroll down to the Location field and click the edit option. When editing the address you'll see an option to hide the address. Click this option and hit save changes.
You also have the option to enter a Location Description directly below the Location field. A location description is a text box that you can enter anything you'd like, including a different address or a URL. Whatever you enter in the location description will be displayed on the Get There tab on your public event page. If you've hidden the address the location description will be all that is displayed. If you have not hidden the address the location description will be displayed in addition to the location. Please note, the location description will not be displayed on a ticket buyer's confirmation page, on the confirmation email or on their tickets.
